Our Story
Maraislise was born from a lifelong love of fashion — and of clothing above all. Its founder, self-taught, was drawn to it young. Ambitious and tenacious, she launched a first leather-goods label that quickly found its audience. For close to thirty years she sharpened her craft, raised her standards, and built a deep, hands-on knowledge of the product. Once she had reached what she set out to, she made a bold choice: to stop everything and return to what had always moved her — making clothes. Maraislise is that new beginning.
A Parisian Identity
The label was founded in Le Marais, in the heart of Paris.
Central, alive, endlessly creative, the neighbourhood is a constant source of inspiration — a meeting of styles and influences, never more so than during Fashion Week, when enthusiasts and professionals arrive from across the world.
The name Maraislise comes straight from this place. It carries its energy, and its restless urge to create.
